Who is Milo?

Milo Ventimiglia is an American actor who was born in raised in southern California, where he graduated from high school in 1995. He then went on to spend four years as an English major at UCLA, before dropping out to pursue his acting career. His first role was a small guest spot on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and he continued to act in various guest appearances on shows such as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Boston Public, and Sabrina: The Teenage Witch, before landing the role of Jess Mariano on Gilmore Girls. The role of Rory's bad boy-boyfriend became his big break and though he continued to reccur in later seasons of the show, he left after season three to pursue other things. He went on to find roles in various movies such as Dirty Deeds, Cursed, Stay Alive and Rocky Balboa before landing the role of Peter Petrelli on NBC's super-hit Heroes, where he currently stars.


Who's Alexis Bledel?

Alexis Bledel is an American actress of Argentian and Mexican descent who got her start in modeling. She was born in Houston, Texas, where she was raised speaking Spanish. She did not learn English until she started school and only started acting when her mother encouraged her to join community productions to overcome her shyness. During her childhood she was scouted by a modeling agent at a mall and went on to travel the world modeling for various campaigns. After finishing high school, she went on to attend New York University for a year before dropping out to play the role of Rory Gilmore on Gilmore Girls. It was her first major role and her tv debut. During breaks from filming the show, she filmed roles in movies such as Tuck Everlasting, Sin City, and Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. She has repeatedly said that, while she enjoys acting, she also enjoys other things and may or may not coninue her career after the ending of Gilmore Girls. However, after the show ended she has since signed on for a Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants sequel.


What's the deal with Alexis and Milo?

Alexis Bledel and Milo Ventimiglia met through Gilmore Girls when Milo joined the cast as a love interest for Rory in the show's second season. The characters went on to start a relationship at the start of season three, about the same time the actors did. Even after Milo left the show at the end of season three to pursue other projects, the two continued to date but stayed out of the spotlight for the most part. He returned to the show several times in later season, twice in season four, and twice in season six, in part because himself and the show's creator, Amy Sherman-Palladino, felt the character's journey wasn't done yet, and in part because of Alexis.

The couple broke up in the spring of 2006, after three and a half years of dating, for unknown reasons.
